CONDITIONS TREATED

The physicians at My Retina Health are board-certified ophthalmologists with expertise in the medical and surgical treatment of conditions affecting the retina, macula, and vitreous.

Macular Degeneration

Macular Degeneration, also called Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD), is a progressive eye disease that affects the macula, the central part of the retina responsible for sharp, central vision.

Retinal Detachment

Tears and holes in the retina can lead to retinal detachment. With an opening in the retina, the fluid in the eye (vitreous) can pass through the hole beneath the retina.

Diabetic Retinopathy

Diabetic Retinopathy is a diabetes-related eye disease that affects the retina—the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye. It occurs when chronically high blood sugar levels damage the small blood vessels in the retina, leading to leakage, swelling, or abnormal blood vessel growth

Central Serous Retinopathy

Central serous retinopathy (CSR) is caused by leakage of fluid beneath the retina. This bubble or blister of fluid beneath the macula can cause a central scotoma, minification, and blurred vision.
